Due to seeing Fester's stunning new looks in his pictures on this Forum - Jo has bullied me into another respray on the old Cab Bug.

So the teardown has begun.......









Paint flattening





Front Valance join needed a small weld





Then onto the paint imperfection repairs











Front valance repair grinded and filled

Full clean out and main Jet soaked in carb cleaner



Cleaned rebuilt and ready to fit

More engine progress.

Replacing the Pushrod seals again.







Painting rocker covers heatproof grey.



New pushrod seals, Rockers refitted.



New J Tubes and new nuts and washers fitted along with new exhaust clamps and gaskets.



Bottom end of engine almost oil tight, flywheel oil seal next.
