I have been here a couple of times.

End of Jan and Early March 2009. Hoping to get away again same time this year.

There are wooden wigwams you can sleep in, I went with some mates to camp and do some hiking nearby, it was a bit cold and one of my mates went wimp and hired out a wigwam, I never went up to it but he said it was nice, had heating and beds, fairly basic.

I camped in a tent in the camp area.

You drive your car in, think you can either poark it in the lot, outside your wigwam or if you are using a tent, you just take it into the field with you.

I have two dogs, they ran about mad in the field, second time i was there another couple of people had dogs, they all played together, no hassle.

Has a small shop, a kitchen area with utensils and a washing maching / dryer.

Toilets that are heated. Not sure about showers, I cant remember.

Walking trail runs right through it so good for hikes.

You are not too far from a local town and stuff aswell.

I have no complaints other than the fire pits.

You can have a camp fire, but it has to be in a designated pit, which is basically an old tractor wheel. I see the point and all, but on a cold winters night with a wind blowing off the hills, a fire thats contained in a wheel rim aint good for much of anything!
