"Bessie" broke down at Volksfling at the weekend and is now on the ramps. Can't source a new nearside rear trailing arm and outer chassis repair panel. Anyone got any ideas? I'm booked on the ferry to Arran on Friday and off on holiday for two weeks soon, so need Bessie back on the road. Help, help, help!Cry

Wild guess that Bessie is a t25, in which case just kampers do repair panels for the body and a replacement spring seat for the trailing arm

If it ain't broke, fix it till it is. If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem. Lack of funds is the mother of ingenuity

Hi dougster, welcome to the forum! Sorry to hear about your van. As Glen said above, Just kampers is probably your best bet. If not, try brickwerks or Alan Schofield for panels. You could also give Richy on here a call and see if he has a trailing arm. Look him up on the members list at the top or give me a PM if you want his number

Good luck!

I just bought a trailing arm for my bus with JK being the cheapest but they were out of stock at the time.
Ended up getting one from Schofields instead.
About £270 IIRC

Hi, just had an email from the JP Group in Denmark saying that the trailing arms should be with UK suppliers next week, so have made a back order with VW Heritage Parts Centre to have one sent straight to Paisley VW Centre so that they can get on with the repairs. Thanks for all all your help with this.
